The old playground at St Jacobs Public School was deemed unsafe for further use in 2022. It was removed in 2023.
As of February 2026, we have raised ~$80,000 for a new playground. We are doing a final push with several fundraisers during the current school year, and then we'll build the best playground we can with the funds we have! We are hoping for a final total of at least $100,000 - we can do this, St Jacobs! β₯οΈ
We will conclude our fundraising efforts at the end of the 2025-26 school year, and start the contracting and building process in Summer 2026.

The St Jacobs Community Talent Show and Celebration, in support of our playground, takes place on Friday, April 24.
We'd love to see your act, your artwork, and your baking. There's also a family-friendly dance party after the main stage acts are complete!
