The old playground at St Jacobs Public School was deemed unsafe for further use in 2022. It was removed in 2023.
As of October 2025, we have raised ~$65,000 for a new playground. We are doing a final push with several fundraisers during the current school year, and then we'll build the best playground we can with the funds we have! We are hoping for a final total of at least $100,000 - we can do this, St Jacobs! β₯οΈ
We will conclude our fundraising efforts at the end of the 2025-26 school year, and start the contracting and building process in Summer 2026.
